Montana Brewery Shop is your one stop shop for all things Montana beer. We offer merchandise from craft beverage makers across the state, as well as packaged Montana craft beer, seltzer, cider, and hard kombucha, gifts and snacks. We work directly with Montana craft beverage makerss to design and produce merchandise for their taprooms as well as in our retail store in Livingston, Montana and online store.

MBS was founded in 2018 by Rachel Anderson. Rachel also owns M Design Group, a marketing and design agency and is co-founder and producer of the Tap into Montana brew fest. Her love of branded merchandise coupled with her obsession with craft beer and the Montana brewery community were the inspiration for Montana Brewery Shop.

Rachel Anderson

Owner

Rachel grew up in Minnesota, but has a long rooted history in Montana. Her parents grew up in rural Eastern Montana and she has lots of extended family scattered throughout the state. She attended Montana State University and earned a B.S. in Psychology.

​

Rachel has worked in marketing and sales her entire career. In addition to being the owner of Montana Brewery Shop, she owns M Design Group, a creative agency based in Livingston.

She is also the co-founder and producer of Tap into Montana Craft Beer Week and Brew Fest and the co-founder and co-chair of Montana Matriarch, a women's giving circle community organization focused on manifesting women’s civic engagement.

Rachel has a passion for craft beer and the Montana brewery community.  She loves visiting breweries around the country and trying new styles. While she is traditionally a fan of APAs and NE style IPAs, her current obsession is with Sour Ales.

Rachel resides in Livingston with her husband, Brian, their two boys Liam and Gage and their dogs Lewis and Seger. They love spending time camping and playing outdoors, seeing live music, drinking craft beer, and exploring Montana and beyond.

Kacie Boteler

General Manager

Kacie was born and raised in Montana, and after a few fun adventures outside the state she found her way back to the place she loves the most!

Her love for craft beer and the community started while she was earning her degree in Elementary Education at the University of Montana in Missoula. She loved stopping into the neighborhood taproom.  She continues to enjoy visiting breweries when traveling with her husband as well as locally in Bozeman and Livingston. Kacie appreciates the friendly welcoming community atmosphere, where people strike up conversations with the strangers next to them. You walk in a stranger and leave a family member.

Over the years Kacie has enjoyed learning more about craft beer attending beer education events whenever she could. She has her favorite styles, but appreciates the craft of them all, and loves trying new beers!  During her four years of employment at Katabatic Brewing Company, she got an inside look at many aspects of the craft world.  She moved from the taproom to traveling around Montana as their sales rep. After her time there she wanted to continue to be a part of the craft beer world, and the Montana Brewery Shop is the perfect fit!   

She and her husband Daniel and dogs Mac and Bea live in Livingston and love getting on the river, camping, skiing, music and going on travel adventures every chance they get!
